The moment I set foot in the Lion City, I knew for an instant that it’s going to be a memorable trip filled with memories and learning that will make the experience worthwhile. As a matter of fact, as soon as we descended from our red-eye flight, this travel episode started to make an unforgettable salvo that wrecked the nerve out of me — I lost my wallet!!!
With a luggage, a backpack, camera bag, and a passport on hand, I didn’t notice my wallet’s gone, where all my cash and cards are, until we got out from the airport and have our money changed. I can’t remember the last time I felt it was in my pocket but I know that I have it with me throughout the flight!
Thankfully, Change International Airport’s staff was very much accommodating in helping me go back inside the arrivals area and in assisting me in asking the aircraft staff to check all places where I possibly dropped it.
And 2 anxious hours, 2 failed attempts and phone calls later, the aircraft staff has notified me that they were able successfully find it somewhere that I didn’t clearly understand — the news was deafening mid-way because found it!!!
What a memorable ‘hello’ right?!
Tip: I’m sure you don’t experience such trauma. So, when travelling, always triple check everything before leaving a place. Secure all your valuables at all times and just to be sure, don’t use a single purse for your cash/cards. Keep it separately so whenever an emergency happen, you’re not totally helpless — it can somehow help you save up too!
Anyway, we left the airport around 5am en route to where we’ll be staying. There’s nothing on our itinerary that was compromised though aside from sleep. So, we rolled out as planned and discovered what this so-called city of the future has to offer.

Out of everything we planned, Wild Wild Wet was the only attraction we didn’t get to visit due to a tropical depression. But all in all, we had a very great time! There’s no single attraction that had me meh. Every detail kept me and wanting to experience more! Singapore exceeded expectations!
I’ll definitely come back and visit again soon!
