The contrast between art and science has been evident to me ever since I’m in primary school. It was very often for me to witness a fusion of these two opposite matters during family gatherings where my relatives debate about the competencies and parallelism of both worlds. However, in this day and age where technological innovation arises, there are a few hyper-realistic destinations that showcase both at the same time. And this is one of the things Singapore is very rich at.
Despite of being a city that they are, they were able to establish such high regard for art and science. This is very evident in their state of the art facilities and attractions that have kept us astounded in the duration of our stay.
On this blog pots, I’ll be sharing with you one of the main attractions that highlight the best of both worlds in one go — The ArtScience Museum.
ArtScience Museum is located within the integrated resort of Marina Bay Sands. The lotus-inspired building houses well-curated gallery spaces where exhibitions bring together art, science, culture, and technology that creative minds should definitely see!
At a given time, four immersive exhibitions are being featured in the museum including its permanent gallery — Future World: Where Art Meets Science.
The Future World is a high-tech multi-sensory walkthrough that allows guests to interact with its digital environment presented as nature, park, sanctuary, and space. The exhibition is a symbolic showcase of how human interaction affects the environment with every movement made.
Future World ticket prices cost S$17 for adults; S$12 for kids; and they also have a group package of 4 — 2 adults and 2 kids for only S446.
Singapore residents and Sands Rewards members get to enjoy discounted rates too per type of pass availed.
ArtScience Museum is located in Marina Bay Sands and is open daily from 10am to 6pm.
